The government decided to deliver gratis four-storey building to the Ministry of Agriculture in Sofia on the conference today.

11.02.2008 Tax on real estate and vehicles in Sofia to be increased

Sofia Deputy Mayor Minko Gerdjikov said on Friday, February 8 that two taxes in Bulgaria's capital will be increased. Tax on property will increase from 1.5 per cent per thousand to 2 per cent per thousand and tax on vehicles will increase by 25 per cent. The measures are designed to limit the growth in the number of vehicles in Sofia and raise more money for repairs to road infrastructure, Gerdjikov said.
