This old brick house for is situated 60 km east of the town of Kardjali, and only 5 km from Arda river and Ivailovgrad Dam. The property needs total refurbishment. The house is connected to electricity, and running water outside the house. There is no bathroom in the property and the toilet is external. To be habitable, the house needs roof repair, internal plumbing, installment of internal bathroom/wc and overall modernization.
The area and nature around the property are great. It is a typical rural retreat in a region famous with its warm climate, quality wine production, rich flora and fauna with plenty of endangered species, and important archeological sites. The region is appropriate for tourism, plenty of tour operators have included it in their routes – there are hiking trails, bird watching safaris, fishing and hunting, etc. The closest border post with Greece at Svilengrad is only 25 km away from the house. Turkish border is 30 km away, and the megapolis of Istanbul - only 3 hours drive away from the property.
