This bulgarian house for sale is located in a nice village which old part is an architectural reserve and is located at the foot of Stara Planina Mountain. It has a wonderful view towards the mountain and it is located near a small brook. The property embraces of a house and a garden. The house built in 1910 is a typical representative of the Bulgarian traditions in building - it has stone foundations, mud-brick walls (which are good insulation) and stone slabs for the roof. The wattle and daub ceilings are traditional for the period, too.
The floors are mud, covered with wood-made boards, in need of major repair. This mountain house doesn't have running water and electricity, but the installation of both can be arranged, as well as the construction of a bathroom and a toilet.
The cellar on the ground level is big (42 sq. m.) with stone-made walls. All the rooms on the first and second floor need major renovation work, plastering, painting, flooring, windows and doors. Another option is the construction of a new house on the stone foundations of this one. No garage is built but a car can be parked in the big yard of the house. An asphalt road passes near the house. The garden and the yard are big (2000 sq. m.) and relatively flat but they need some clearing. The village is 20 km. from Troyan and 20 km. from Lovech, very quiet and peaceful.
