The village is located on the both banks of Sazliika River, in Sakar Mountain (a mountain in southeastern Bulgaria, between the rivers Maritsa, Tundzha, Sokolitsa and Sazliyka and close to the borders with Greece and Turkey). One of the popular Bulgarian national fairs takes place in the Sveta Troitza monastery that is close to the village. The area is ideal for fishing and hunting.
