The village is 7 km from the town of General Toshevo and the border with Romania, 32 km from Dobrich, 25 km from Durankulak and 80 km from Varna. In this very well arranged village, there is a primary school, a community center, a kindergarten, a doctor's office, an Orthodox church, many grocery stores, a post office, a town hall, a park with fitness equipment.
The village is fully electrified and water-supplied. The roads are in excellent condition. Regular bus transport connects the village with the towns of Dobrich and General Toshevo and the neighboring villages. The Kardam-Sofia railway line passes through the village.
