This is a great combination between a non-industrial area and proximity to the Bulgarian capital city. The gorgeous and exceptionally peaceful town in the western part of the country lies 55 km away from Sofia and only 8 km away from the attractive and so desirable ski resort of Borovets!

Several magnificent mountain ranges encircle the picturesque town – Rila, Vitosha, Verila, Plana and Ihtimanska Sredna Gora. The elevation is approximately 950 m above sea level. Some 10 km away from the Bulgarian property you can reach the Rila National Park.

It will impress you with enthralling sights and lots of places suitable for excellent relaxation in the open air. The inhabited place is surrounded by various spa resorts where there are lovely mineral springs. The springs in Sapareva Banya are 30 km away from Samokov and some more spa destinations are Belchin Banya (14 km) and Dolna Banya (27 km).

The huge Iskar dam is disposed at a distance of 12 km away from the lovely house for sale! The region is stunningly beautiful, rich in natural landmarks and this is why it is great for a wide range of outdoor activities! The Bulgarian property near the capital city represents a very nice and big house with an enormous investment potential that is equally suitable for residence, for holidays and for business, as well!

The massive house has an area of 160 sq.m and on the first floor you will find three separate premises, a kitchen, another premise with a stove and a living room with a fireplace. Three bedrooms and a premise are located upstairs.

The house needs certain interior optimization yet it is completed and it features finished flooring with granite tiles, insulation, linoleum, wooden joinery, solid concrete built internal stairs and an internal bathroom with an entrance from the outside (changes are possible).

Other advantages of the functional property are the separate brick built outbuilding with a size of 100 sq.m that could be used as a garage, storage room or a guest house, if preferred. There is another and more spacious garage. Both of them are supplied with three-phase electricity and plumbing fittings.

Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. We turned to the internet for answers and based on the budget we had and the lifestyle/climate we were looking for, Bulgaria seemed to be the place for us. So after hours of trawling through websites, and countless emails back and forth with various estate agents throughout Bulgaria, it quickly became apparent that there is a lot of choices out there and ‘viewing trip’ was in order to see it for ourselves. We booked some tickets and flew over to see how it could be possible to buy a whole house for less than your standard deposit back home. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search. With this newfound knowledge and her help, we quickly condensed a list of 30 potentials down to just 2, and then after Kiki did some investigation into the legal side of both the properties, we made our choice. When it comes to customer service, she helped us every step of the way, from suggesting houses that offered what we were looking for to guiding us through the legal process and completing the sale. She has consistently delivered on her promises and has always been just a phone call or message away - Which actually helped alleviate a lot of the possible anxiety linked to buying a house in another country… Not to mention choosing to do right in the middle of the Brexit negotiations. To be honest, the whole process has been a breeze with her help and I would certainly recommend her and BulgarianHouse.com to anyone who is looking to do the same. Now the sale is complete and the house is ours, we couldn’t be happier and plan to take the leap in the new year. Thank you for all your help Kiki Tia and Lee
