The infrastructure in the village is very well-organized - the road to the village is in a very good condition, electricity and water-supply are available. In the community center of Dabovik there is an authentic folklore group, a knitting group and a library. The church in Dabovik was built in 1953 and has been renovated in 2009. Four very old and valuable icons are stored in it. In the village there is a post-office, a doctor's office, a pub , a grocery shop, a park and regular public transportation to the nearby towns and villages.
The local people are basically engaged into agriculture and stock-breeding. The arable land is being cultivated by tenant farmers. Dabovik is exceptionally attractive for its proximity to the towns General Toshevo and Dobrich and the sea-coast. Some English and Russian families have purchased houses in the village fascinated by the tranquillity, the peacefulness and the beautiful nature.
