General Toshevo is a small town in northeastern Bulgaria. It is located 24 km from the town of Dobrich, in the Dobrich region and is close to the border with Romania. The town is the administrative center of the municipality of General Toshevo. The municipality includes 41 settlements, the largest of which are Kardam, Spasovo, Krasen, Rositsa, Vasilevo, Preselentsi. Until 1942 the name of the settlement was Kasamkoy or Kasam.
