Dobrina is a village in northeastern Bulgaria, part of Provadia Municipality, Varna District. It is located 4 km from the town of Provadia, 46 km from the city of Varna and Varna International Airport. The village has a community center, shop. There are health and education facilities only 5 km away.
Several English families have bought properties here and have chosen the area as their home. The picturesque location of the village of Dobrina and the rich cultural and historical past make it an attractive place for recreation and tourism, and quick and easy access to Varna - and permanent residence.
Here is the only stone church of its kind "St. Theodore", the current church "Holy Nativity of the Virgin" is famous for its unique iconostasis. In the basement of the church there is a hiding place with a well. A rich ethnographic collection is presented in the "Vasil Levski" community center, which presents the life and everyday life of the local people.
Nearby are the Ovech fortress, the Ereka drilling spring and the salt baths in Provadia - the only ones of its kind in the country. There are healing baths with a similar effect only in Karlovy Vary - Czech Republic.
