The village is in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of General Toshevo municipality, Dobrich district. It is located 25 km northwest of the town of Kavarna and the sea, 16 km southeast of the municipal center General Toshevo, 37 km east of the town of Dobrich and 75 km northeast of the town of Varna.
The relief is hilly and flat. The climate is temperate-continental and is characterized by hot and dry summer, colorful, warm autumn, cold winter with heavy snowfall and sunny spring. The population numbers about 450 people. Altitude 192 m.
Infrastructure
The village has a primary school, a community center with a rich library, a kindergarten, a pub, a stadium, a children's playground, a general store, a town hall, a post office, doctor's and dentist's offices.
The roads are in excellent condition. The village is fully electrified and water supplied, and part of the water transmission network in the village has been renewed. There is regular bus transport to the town of General Toshevo and the surrounding villages. Residents of the village have access to all modern communications - internet, satellite TV, coverage of all mobile operators.

In the immediate vicinity of the village there is a picturesque forest surrounded by stony hills. The area has a special charm, it is a great place for picnics, walks and relaxation in nature.

During the agriculturally active season, work for local people is provided by a private agricultural cooperative. A sewing workshop with 65 jobs also operates in Vasilevo. People from neighboring villages also work here.
