The village is located in northeastern Bulgaria and is part of Kavarna municipality, Dobrich district. It is located 60 km from Varna, 50 km from Dobrich, 5 km from Kavarna, 18 km from Balchik and 4 km from the main road Varna-Durankulak.
Number of inhabitants - about 120 people. The relief is flat and the climate is temperate-continental, with a strong influence of the Black Sea. Although the settlement is not one of the largest, it is immediately apparent that its proximity to the beach has attracted investment. Wind generators rise at both ends of the village. Several constructions can be seen, along with the typical rural houses of Dobrudzha, modern buildings are erected - a sure sign that there is no lack of interest from investors and foreigners. However, the new buildings are few and do not change the appearance of the village. Foreign owners in most cases make cosmetic repairs to old houses and thus preserve their authentic architectural appearance.

The village is one of the settlements in Dobrogea, which has great prospects for development. Many properties are bought by the British, the interest does not subside, although the price of regulated land does not fall.
