It is located 26 km northwest of Dobrich, 79 km northwest of Varna, 70 km southeast of Balchik and the sea and 3.7 km from the main road Varna-Dobrich-Silistra. The village has grocery stores, cafes , post office. Bus transport connects the village with the town of Dobrich and the surrounding villages. The road Varna-Dobrich-Silistra, which is completely repaired and in excellent condition is 3.7 km from the village. The nearest school and doctor's office are located 4 km from Geshanovo in the village of Karapelit. There are three spring fountains in the village known as Sweet, Bitter and Akardzha. Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search.
