BULGARIAN HOUSE LTD is pleased to offer you this village house for sale with a plot of land and additional buildings situated in Borovan, 30 km from Vratsa and 140 km from Sofia, Bulgaria.
The property is located on a quiet side street with quick access to the main road and another street going to the center of the village. Total living area of the property is 130 sq.m. Disposed between two floors connected via short external staircase. Downstairs one can find two rooms. Upstairs there are corridor and two more rooms. The property had been out of use for many years now and certainly needs repairs. The current owner had started the preparations for the work needed on the house but plans have changed and he does not need the place anymore. Besides the house one can find several more buildings in the plot. There is an annex situated behind the main building. That structure is currently in very poor state and should be rebuild in order to be used again. On the other side of the house are the garage and the foundations laid for a workshop and storage. Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. We booked some tickets and flew over to see how it could be possible to buy a whole house for less than your standard deposit back home. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search. With this newfound knowledge and her help, we quickly condensed a list of 30 potentials down to just 2, and then after Kiki did some investigation into the legal side of both the properties, we made our choice. When it comes to customer service, she helped us every step of the way, from suggesting houses that offered what we were looking for to guiding us through the legal process and completing the sale.
