Old rural house with annex, barn and big plot of land situated in a quiet village near lake 40 km away from Vratsa, Bulgaria. The property has two floors connected via internal wooden staircase. The ground level holds three rooms (living room, kitchen and storage) and corridor. Over the stairs one can get to the second floor where corridor, closet and three bedrooms are situated. The annex is located next to the house. It has one floor and consists of one very big premise which serves as kitchen and dining area. There is also a storage building located close to the annex. This structure once was used for keeping the fire wood. The barn is located in the yard across from the house. It is spacious and divided into different areas depending on the purpose of use in the past – animal shelter, grain and hay storage, parking area, tool shed, etc. The property comes with a nice plot of land which is very fertile but is currently covered with grass. The real estate is divided from the neighboring properties and the streets by solid fences made of wire and bricks. The house had been empty for several years therefore it requires a bit of cleaning and attention as well as some renovation. The village where it is situated is popular among foreigners as there are already several of them who are living here all year round and there are some who use their properties as holiday homes. The house is situated about 100 meters away by foot from the local shop, bar, post office and mayor`s office. The village is not too populated so one can enjoy lots of peace and quiet. The nearest town is also the seat of the local council and is situated about 12 km away from here. There one can find gas station, police station, bank branch and ATMs, shops and stores as well as administrative services, farmer`s market, library, etc. The distance to the regional center Vratsa is about 30-35 minutes of driving, while Sofia and Sofia International Airport are about 2 hours away.
