Have a property at the bank of Danube river in very peaceful village of Ostrov. BULGARIAN HOUSE - real estate agency is pleased to presents you this cozy Bulgarian home situated not far---walking distance from Danube river.
The house has an area of 180 sq. m on two floors, with additional annexes- summer kitchen next to it. The first floor consists of a corridor, a kitchen, a living room and a storage room. Internal staircase leads to the upper floor. On the second floor there three bedrooms and a terrace from where you can see partially Danube river in the distance. Next to the main house there is an anex which consists of one big premise which was used like a dining/living room in the old days. Next to it is another building that was used as a storage place for tools shed, workshop. In the garden you gonna find also several more structures and shelters for animals which are in a bad shape already. The property is supplied with electricity and running water, road reachable all year round. There are several vines, fruit trees in the plot of land but it is mostly overgrown as it had been out of use for several years. Totally the garden has an area of 800 sq. m and is suitable for a vegetable garden, as the soil here is very fertile.
The property is in good structural condition, it has good sized rooms with a good high level. Yes- it needs renovation work and cleaning of the garden as no one lives there for several years and everything is overgrown, but when thi sis done will become your dream Bulgarian home.

Distance to Oryahovo is only 15km, To Vratsa is 80 km. To one of the largest cities in Bulgaria, Pleven, is 65 km away. The distance to Sofia airport is 250 km. The property is situated in a quiet side street some 250 meters form the center of the village and offers great panoramic views from its front border as well as from the second floor. The village where the property is situated is quite big and has several shops and bars, mayor`s office, library, post office, gas station, small river port. There are many foreigners who bought already their houses in the village and lives here permamently. The Danube river provides great conditions for fishing throughout the whole year so one can practice their hobby here. There is a ferry crossing into Romania which is situated 15 km away from here near the closest town to the property. That town is also seat of the local council for the area so it provides administrative services, police station, emergency room, shops and bars, restaurant, gas station, bus links to the regional capital Vratsa and the national capital city Sofia. Big rural property with nice location and good views in proximity to fishing spots for sale at a very good price.

Nothing whatsoever was any hurdle or issue. There are (minor) extra legal steps taken in Bulgaria to complete the process and all of it must be done in Bulgarian and with the help of a lawyer. Here Kiki being an expert and having everything worked out professionally, means this will also go quickly and easily. I feel like I snapped my fingers and it was over because of Kiki making everything so easy for me. I now own my dream country home that my family and I will love to fix up and enjoy. Kiki went an extra step to send updated photographs to me, and I was so pleased to see there were extra rooms in the house that I had not seen in the listing, and lovely buildings on the edge of the property which I am thrilled about. From this process I feel like I got more than I paid for because of the extra service that Kiki offers her clients. It would be unthinkable for me to buy from anyone else and we are already looking at other properties for the extended family.??A note about buying remotely: times have changed. Because of the health scare, many businesses went exclusively online. I work in renovation, design and construction, so I feel ok sizing up properties from images, knowing I have the experience to handle it. For those that don’t, I think you can rely on Kiki to make excellent recommendations for what you need, and she will be honest about every condition of every home, and she’s very good at this type of help as well. For me, because of what it would cost for airlines and hotels to visit first before purchase, I decided I would rather put that money in the purchase of the property itself, and I’m so glad I did.
