Bojurets is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria, part of Kavarna municipality, Dobrich district. It is located 12 km from
Balchik, 22 km from the Albena resort, 32 km from Golden Sands, 5 km from the town of Kavarna and 250 m from the Black Sea coast.

Bojurets is a resort village. It has a hotel, villas and guest houses, grocery stores, many complexes, entertainment venues. The funds for the construction of the chapel in the village came from a donor. The municipality has ceded the plot free of charge. The temple bears the name of St. Nikolay the Miracleworker. In Bojurets, you can also see the typical Dobrudja dwellings, as well as the not so common stone windows and buildings made of cut stone. It is characteristic of the village that each house has several acres of yard space. Not far from the village is the mega project of the world-famous golfer Gary Player, which also includes an 18-hole golf course.
The influx of investors has also had a beneficial effect on the infrastructure of Bojurets. Sewage pipes were laid, sewage facilities were built, and a second substation was built. In the previous mandate, there was a problem with the water supply. Now the village is supplied by a pumping station with updated facilities and there is no problem with the water stoppage.

The nature in the area is unique. The rock terrace above the sea is a natural habitat for various rare and endangered animal and plant species. On the white marls, which are full of fossils from the warm, extinct Sarmatian Sea, you can see steppe plants, some of which are found only in this area of Bulgaria and even in the world. The fauna of this place is also incredibly rich. There are many turtles, rare insects and dozens of bird species.
The stony soil hinders the development of agriculture, which is the main industry in the region, but the area and the unique view that opens up from the plateau are attractive to investors and tourists.
Bojurets is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing settlements. The prospects here are numerous and the conditions are excellent for the development of tourism. Let's hope that the rapidly developing infrastructure in the area will not take away from the pristine charm of this corner of paradise.
