Restavration and developing of Bulgarian castles and sites Over the next two years Bulgaria is to spend 300 million leva( about 150 euro) in European Union funds for restoring 11 castles and a large number of ancient cities and towns that are popular tourist destinations.
Museum village of Etara ( Etura), former capital Pliska, Arbanassi/Veliko Tarnovo region, Magura & Ledenika caves, the Madara Horseman cliff carving near the town of Shoumen and the Belogradchik rocks are part of the sites and sightseeing which will be restored and developed.
About 61 municipalities will be involved in implementing the projects, with their tasks including improving infrastructure near Bulgarian tourist attractions.
The fortress dating back 1700 years, located near the village of Belchin only15km away from Samokov and 50km from Sofia-the Bulgarian capital will be restored as well. The fortress has 6 towers and has walls about 350m long. Near to the walls , archaeologists found the remains of three church from the same period as the fortress, which is proof that Christianity had come to the area at the time of Byzantine emperor Constantine the Great.
For restoration, betterment and developed of the fortress, Samokov municipality is to be given close to 6 million BGN. This will be just one of the attractions that the tourist coming in Bulgaria can see during their holiday.
Furthermore Borovets ski resort is only few km away from the village where is located the fortress and you can enjoy your holiday with combination of relaxation and entertainments.

I can only reiterate what many have said before. I bought a house sight unseen and only had photos to work with. Kunka (Kiki) provided many additional photos and a video upon request. She has the patience of a saint when dealing with a never-ending barrage of questions. The purchase was completed within the specified timeframe (the first Brexit date) without any problems and Kiki is now helping me arrange for renovation work. I had to use a Power of Attorney to undertake the purchase and despite having to make an unexpected trip to Hanoi to notarize documents, all went smoothly. I would therefore recommend Kiki and her company without reservation and most likely will use her services again at a future date.
