Rose festival at Kazanlak- 110 year Anniversary
The rose festival will take place on June 2nd 2013 at KazanlakKazanlak is a town located in the centre of the valley bearing the same name, whose eastern part is known beyond the boundaries of Bulgaria as the Valley of the Roses. It is about 250km away east of Sofia, 55km east of Karlovo, 48km south of Gabrovo, 75km west of Sliven, 35km north-west from Stara Zagora and 108km north-east from Plovdiv. Kazanluk is an important industrial, historical and cultural centre. The town is the Capital of the Roses(rose growing) in Bulgaria.
The Valley of Roses is majestic! It is the home of the exquisite and rare Bulgarian rose oil, also known as “attar of roses”, a well renowned world center for rose oil production and the source of many of the world’s finest perfumes. May and June are the most majestic months in the Rose valley, as thye rose fields are blossoming and the entire valley is enveloped with their fragrance. It is unique and rare experience to spend a night or two at Kazanlak in May or June- to breath, to immerse in the rose fragrance.

Visit Kazanlak during 24.05-24.06.2013 and be with us for the Rose festival. There will be many entertainments during the period. The main celebrating is between31th of May -2nd of June 2013.
There will be held many folklore concerts, rose-picking spectacl, a carnival parade, queen’s chronicles and many others.
The first thing I want to say is, thank you Kiki for all you have done. The first time we spoke to Kiki we felt right at ease. Because we didn' t know how or when we were going to be in Bulgaria we didn't let her know. So when we got there we contacted Kiki. Because we were only there for a week we didn't have much time. She immediatly made sure we could visit a house the same day. She called us crazy because it was 400 km from varna were we stayed. But we went. She could not be there with us because it was such short notice, but the next day she was. Kiki cleared her calender to make sure we could look at some other houses with her. Besides the fact she showed us some good houses we also had a lot of fun. When we went to see the last one it was bingo. So we would buy the house. Kiki made sure a paper work was oke before we left back to Belgium. Now not even a month later we can call ourselfes the proud owners of a house in Bulgaria. What Kiki did for us was amazing. Everything went smoothly without any problems. She is a hardworking woman,(sometimes to hard working), she makes sure everything goes smoothly. And besides that she is a great person. We know we have a new friend for life. When we buy our next house it will be with Kiki. So again Kiki thank you, you are amazing
