Russian tourists Number 1 on the Bulgarian tourist market
For first time Russian tourists in Bulgaria are taking first place in the ranking , reported the Analytics department of the Association of Tour Operators in Russia. For first time this year the Russian tourists are more than the tourists from German, Greece and Romania. For the last five years the share of the Russian tourists visiting Bulgaria has been raised more than double- from 5,7% in 2008 up to 11,7% in 2012. For the first eight month of 2012 more than 500 000 Russian citizens have been visited Bulgaria.
According to data of the Russian association the most tourist visited Bulgaria was in July-136 500 people. In August their number have been raised with 42% comparing with the last 2011.
