Shanghai Travel Agency shows strong interest in Kazanlak

The Rose Valley is an incredibly illustrious Bulgarian region located in the central part of the country. The town of Kazanlak is also known as the ‘’town of roses’’ famous for the oil-producing rose. It is thus the centre of rose oil extraction in Bulgaria. The region is characterized by lovely nature, mild climate, vast fruitful fields and an immense number of sites for outdoor recreation.

The oil-producing rose is one of the most popular and easily recognizable national symbol. Kazanlak also abounds in sites of cultural and historical significance. All of its features attract a large number of foreign tourists. One typical cultural event for this region is the Rose Festival that takes place every year.

It includes a variety of concerts, exhibitions and a lot of entertainment. Many of people from abroad show steady interest in tourism right in this region. One international travel agency from Shanghai is exceptionally interested in Kazanlak as an attractive destination listed in the routes of the Chinese tourists in Bulgaria.

This was announced at a meeting between Galina Stoyanova, the Mayor of the town of Kazanlak and Denis Guan, chief marketing and international tourism officer at the Shanghai International Travel Agency. Groups of tourists are expected to come even this year. The Chinese travel agency commit to presenting Kazanlak not only on the media but also on all possible advertisement channels so that information about charming Bulgarian town of the roses can reach minimum 20 million people.
