The property that we offer for sale is located in the village of Zlatna Livada where the oldest monastery is located. The area provides excellent condition for cultural and eco-tourism. The ancient St. Atanasii Monastery stands to the south-west of the village, at the foot of a steep hill, on a plateau on the right waterside of the river of Starata Reka. Furthermore, the monastery boasts a thermal spring. The Monastery is the eldest one in Eastern Europe.
There are remains of an old-time Byzantine fortress to the south of the monastery. Besides, there are excavations of Thracian settlements in the area. The magnificent river of Maritza passes 2 km. away from the village and is appropriate for fishing and sunbathing.

As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK.
