This is an authentic Bulgarian house which lies in a nice and placid village that is situated 20 km from the town of Popovo and 140 km away from the modern marine capital city of Varna as well as from the international port, respectively.
The incredibly illustrious ancient district city of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgarian capital city of former times, is 78 km away from the property. The lovely village is in the north-eastern part of the country and is adorably nestled on a hill close to the Golyamata Reka river.
The village is developed in terms of agriculture and organic production. Its land comprises about 22 000 sq. m of pastures, gardens, vineyards and forests. It lies 19 km south from the Municipality of Popovo, 38 km west from the district town of Targovishte and 21 km north-west from the town of Omurtag.
A small charming river separates the village into two parts. The region is a lovely place for outdoor recreation, fishing, hunting, rural tourism and nice long walks. In the vicinity there is a large dam lake – just 5 km away.
The Yastrebino dam lake is one of the biggest dam lakes in the country. The nice stone house we offer has undergone partial renovation. It has total living space of 100 sq.m that comprises two floors. The first floor incorporates three nice spacious rooms. One of them is being currently used as a basement.
The rest of the rooms are quite easy to be transformed into a kitchen, a living room or another idea is if you just convert both rooms into a bigger one! There is an attic space that contributes to the traditional appearance of the inherently Bulgarian house. An external staircase eases the access to the next floor where there are two rooms and one corridor which is now used as a living room.
There are three bedrooms in the house totally. The second floor has been repaired and it is fully ready to move! It features wooden flooring in light hue. The windows have wooden frames but a new PVC one can be set.
The charming house in a green countryside has brick and stone contstruction and its overall condition is good. The rural Bulgarian property is supplied with water and electricity outside and there is an external toilet. An asphalt road leads you to the house and it is easily accessible.
Some modernisation could be needed so that the standard of the house is improved. In the property price is included a large garden comprising total size of 1600 sq.m. It is spacious enough to build a swimming pool or a barbecue area.
According to the property documents there were two additional outbuildings in the yard yet now the space is free and it could be used for constructing a guest house, for instance. If you wish to live in direct contact with nature, this could be just the ideal place for you!
