The Yaylata Reserve
Yayla is a national archeological reserve. It is a seaside terrace, separated from the Dobrujan plateau by 50-60 meters of rock massifs. Yayla is a unique place that combines archaeological remains with natural resources. Here is a cave settlement of over 100 caves from the V millennium BC. From antiquity are preserved sanctuary, sacrificial stones, wineries, four necropolises of rock tombs dug into the rock massif, preserved and partially restored fortress from V-VI century after Christ and other cultural monuments. In the Middle Ages the caves were used as a monastery complex. On the walls of some of them there are proto-Bulgarian signs - runes, crosses and stone icons.

Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable.
