What you see on the pictures is a lovely furnished Bulgarian rural house we are now offering for sale! It is a big two-storey property which you can find in an inherently Bulgarian village in Plovdiv region. It is characterized by illustrious location along the riverside of two nice rivers. It is abundant in green relaxation sites and many amphitheatrically situated houses on the hill.
The pretty Bulgarian village itself is located 50 km northeast from the city of Plovdiv as well as the Plovdiv International Aiport. Amazingly beautiful Bulgarian towns that are situated in close proximity to the property are the town of Roses – Kazanlak (30 km), Pavel Banya (16km) which is famous for its SPA and balneology complex; Shipka (32 km) which is another attractive mountainous town and Brezovo (13 km).
The location of this marvellous rural house is more than favourable! Here you can enjoy this mountainous paradise throughout the whole year! The region is characterized by extremely fresh air, mild mountainous climate, spots for all-day walks and excellent recreation. This place is the right one for everybody who would like to escape from the hasty dynamic lifestyle just for a little while! One of the largest Bulgarian dam lakes is situated close to the house – Koprinka and there are perfect conditions for fishing and hunting here. The town of Kazanlak is located less than 6 km from the dam lake.
It is known for being the ‘’town of roses’’ where unique Bulgarian traditions are kept over the centuries. One of the most attractive cultural events here is namely the Rose Festival when spectacular folklore dances and many cultural exhibitions take place! The village where the beautiful furnished house near a mountain is located is infrastructurally developed and offers amenities for constant living some of which are: local shops, restaurants, bus stops, one church and plenty of historically significant Bulgarian houses. The property covers total living space of 90 sq.m and features three small rooms, two pantries and a detached newly set additional outbuilding which you could use as a guest room (30 sq.m) and which represents both living room and a kitchen.

Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. We turned to the internet for answers and based on the budget we had and the lifestyle/climate we were looking for, Bulgaria seemed to be the place for us. So after hours of trawling through websites, and countless emails back and forth with various estate agents throughout Bulgaria, it quickly became apparent that there is a lot of choices out there and ‘viewing trip’ was in order to see it for ourselves. We booked some tickets and flew over to see how it could be possible to buy a whole house for less than your standard deposit back home. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search. With this newfound knowledge and her help, we quickly condensed a list of 30 potentials down to just 2, and then after Kiki did some investigation into the legal side of both the properties, we made our choice. When it comes to customer service, she helped us every step of the way, from suggesting houses that offered what we were looking for to guiding us through the legal process and completing the sale. She has consistently delivered on her promises and has always been just a phone call or message away - Which actually helped alleviate a lot of the possible anxiety linked to buying a house in another country… Not to mention choosing to do right in the middle of the Brexit negotiations. To be honest, the whole process has been a breeze with her help and I would certainly recommend her and BulgarianHouse.com to anyone who is looking to do the same. Now the sale is complete and the house is ours, we couldn’t be happier and plan to take the leap in the new year. Thank you for all your help Kiki Tia and Lee
