Prices of Bulgarian properties tipped to put up in Spring Some analysis suggested that the property market in Bulgaria could begin soon to rise. During the past few years, since 2008 the residential building’s prices in Bulgaria have fallen with 40%.

This reduce of the prices saw a large scale price drop which, in turn, encouraged many people from Bulgaria and abroad to consider properties in Bulgaria. Now, new research predicted that the real estate prices will go up again in spring time.

A report from Bulgarian National Television tipped the next few months of 2013 to see a rejuvenation, which will appeal to many investors, while it also highlighted where exactly the sales of Bulgarian properties taking place.

The most of the sales took places in the country’s capital Sofia, in the sea capital Varna, south Black Sea Coast Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo like a mountain region.

In Sofia, property buyers were increasingly looking to spend more on property, moving upwards from the 30 000EUR budget, which would typically buy a small one or two bedroom apartment.

Indeed, One of the fastest growing markets in Bulgaria currently is for three-bedroom apartments, which families in particular keen on thus sort of home.

The middle price for apartments that the property buyers are looking for is about 40 000EUR. Large three bedroom apartment can be found for the price between 60 000 and 80 000EUR.

More attractive are the renovated, resale properties which can be found at a price as much as 20 000EUR, sometimes and less. These are the properties located in a country side, villages. Cheap Renovated Bulgarian houses can be found and near the sea in Varna, Dobrich region with a price starting 2 2000 -25 000EUR.

The Globul Property Guide reported at the end of last year that the property prices in Bulgaria have fallen dramatically since 2008. This was the reason for appearing of many Bargain offers for investors.

The new research predict that the Bulgarian property prices are already rising. So now is the moment to take opportunity and buy one of these still cheap bargain properties.

Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. We turned to the internet for answers and based on the budget we had and the lifestyle/climate we were looking for, Bulgaria seemed to be the place for us. So after hours of trawling through websites, and countless emails back and forth with various estate agents throughout Bulgaria, it quickly became apparent that there is a lot of choices out there and ‘viewing trip’ was in order to see it for ourselves. We booked some tickets and flew over to see how it could be possible to buy a whole house for less than your standard deposit back home. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search. With this newfound knowledge and her help, we quickly condensed a list of 30 potentials down to just 2, and then after Kiki did some investigation into the legal side of both the properties, we made our choice. When it comes to customer service, she helped us every step of the way, from suggesting houses that offered what we were looking for to guiding us through the legal process and completing the sale. She has consistently delivered on her promises and has always been just a phone call or message away - Which actually helped alleviate a lot of the possible anxiety linked to buying a house in another country… Not to mention choosing to do right in the middle of the Brexit negotiations. To be honest, the whole process has been a breeze with her help and I would certainly recommend her and BulgarianHouse.com to anyone who is looking to do the same. Now the sale is complete and the house is ours, we couldn’t be happier and plan to take the leap in the new year. Thank you for all your help Kiki Tia and Lee
